About
Norman came into rescue December 2014, while I intended to be his foster mom, it was quite evident he needed a bit of extra care. He was labeled as dog aggressive at animal control, he suffered from severe obsessive compulsive behavior and was spinning extensively. He wouldn't stop to eat and was self mutilating his legs and tail. After a visit with a board certified veterinary behaviorist, patient training and a Thundershirt, we saw progress. Norman continued to thrive, the spinning slowed down, so we stopped using the Thundershirt. Norman had other plans, as he kept bringing me shirts if I didn't put something on him for our walks and training sessions. I saw how confident and comfortable he was and decided to combine my career in men's formalwear with my passion for raising awareness for rescue dogs. I started posting Formalwear Fridays, my dogs and fosters sporting formalwear and the Formal Norman Social Club was born! A portion of the profits go to helping homeless bull terriers in need! |
